DIAF 2024
올해로 17회를 맞이한 Diaf 2024에는 국내외 110여 개 갤러리가 참여했으며, 각 부스 규모를 확대해 사실상 역대 최대 규모로 진행되었다. 이에 더해 다양한 체험 프로그램, 어린이 도슨트 프로그램, 뉴 미디어 아트 특별전 등 풍성한 행사가 마련되어 관람객들의 높은 관심을 불러일으켰다. 행사 기간 내내 라이브룸 강연장과 아티스트 퍼포먼스 부스는 만석을 기록했고, 마지막 순간까지도 관람객 유입이 이어졌으며, 특히 몇몇 중소형 화랑들은 눈에 띄는 판매 실적을 올렸다. 역대 최대 규모로 열린 Diaf 2024는 규모뿐 아니라 준비된 프로그램의 질적 수준에서도 돋보인 행사였다.
More than 110 galleries at home and abroad participated in Diaf 2024, which marks its 17th anniversary this year, and the size of each booth was expanded to be virtually the largest ever. In addition, a variety of events such as various experience programs, children's docent programs, and special exhibitions for new media art were prepared, drawing high interest from visitors. Throughout the event, live room lecture halls and artist performance booths were full, and visitors continued to flow until the last minute, and some galleries in particular made remarkable sales performances. Diaf 2024, the largest ever held, was an event that stood out not only in size but also in the quality of the prepared program.
Diaf PLUS
올해 처음 선보인 Diaf PLUS는 ‘1 타입당 1~3인 아티스트’라는 콘셉트로 기존의 다작가형 부스에서 벗어나 눈길을 끌었다. 각 갤러리 부스는 세 명 이하 작가 중심으로 구성되어, 관람객의 집중도와 몰입감을 높였다. 또한 Diaf PLUS는 40세 미만 청년 작가들의 창의적이고 실험적인 작품을 선보이는 청년 미술 프로젝트로 구성되어, 지역 미술 시장의 새로운 활력소로 자리매김했다. 특히 올해 첫 기획된 특별 이벤트 ‘222 프로그램’은 각 갤러리별로 두 작품을 20% 할인된 가격에 제공함으로써, 아트페어 방문객들의 컬렉터로의 첫걸음을 지원했다.
Diaf PLUS, which was introduced for the first time this year, drew attention away from the existing prolific booth under the concept of "one to three artists per type." Each gallery booth is composed of three or fewer artists, increasing the concentration and immersion of visitors. In addition, Diaf PLUS has established itself as a new vitality in the local art market, consisting of youth art projects that showcase creative and experimental works by young artists under the age of 40. In particular, the first special event "222 Program" planned this year supported the first step as a collector for art fair visitors by offering two works at a 20% discount for each gallery.
